Weight Loss with Far Infrared Ray (FIR - Therapy)

What is Far Infrared Ray (FIR)?

Far Infrared Ray (FIR) is a type of energy waves that surround us but we can’t see. The sun is the main source of far infrared rays. FIR penetrates through skin up to 2 inches, unlike ultraviolet rays, FIR never burns the skin, doesn’t cause any damage. FIR is completely healthy and safe. In fact, it is so safe that it is used in hospitals to warm newborn infants or premature babies.

Far infrared ray (FIR) and Its Benefits

FIR is already produced in our bodies and used for its own healing and detoxification. FIR and its healing properties have been applied as treatments in China and Japan for a long time. Many modern studies showed that FIR is helpful for enhancing blood circulation, reducing pain, strengthening the cardiovascular system, easing joint stiffness and inflammation, and revitalizing skin cells.

Amazingly, in the recent years it was noticed that FIR is capable of stimulating weight loss by improving the body’s basic metabolism. When body is exposed to FIR energy, metabolic waste and toxins are more efficiently cleaned at the cellular level. When your body disposes the toxins, you experience fewer cravings for sugars and fats that unhealthy cells cry out for. Moreover, healthy functioning cells are able to process more complex, high-quality nutrients instead of subsisting on simple sugars, without converting them into fat and cellular waste products. That is why your body will stop craving for more sugar.

How Does FIR help the body to burn calories?

Boosts Cardiovascular and Lympathic Systems

When FIR infiltrates to the body it produces heat energy. That energy stimulates cells to function more rapidly and efficiently. This, in turn, boosts your cardiovascular and lymphatic systems, increases blood flow to all parts of your body, and burns an incredible number of calories. It is a systemic change that leads to far more successful weight management results than those that could be achieved through dieting alone.

In fact, an American Medical Association report suggested that each FIR treatment burned as many calories as 30 minutes of rowing or jogging. Infrared saunas increase metabolic rate and can help the body burn off between 200 to 600 calories in a half-hour session.

Shortening Recovery Time and Stimulates Cellular Regeneration

You may have seen many people begin a weight-loss exercise program but stop that immediately due to muscle and joint pain or immobility and debilitating fatigue. The regular use of far infrared rays helps people to maintain an increase in physical activity by shortening recovery time and healing minor exertion-related injuries. The soothing, penetrative heat stimulates cellular regeneration, allowing you to heal quickly and feel refreshed, relaxed and energized.

Boosted Microcirculation and Elimination of Toxins

With using latest nano-technology, FIR emitting particles are embedded in fabric yarn(3). Such textile material can bring good effect of FIR when in contact with the body. Pain and stiffness subsidizes, injury heals faster and even cellulite improves upon use of fabric containing FIR emitters(1). The experimental results also showed a reduction in body measurements due to boosted microcirculation and peripheral blood flow(2). The increased circulation, elimination of toxins, heavy metals and flushing out of cellular debris enhance overall health too.

Obviously all these don’t mean that diet or exercise are not critical factor in weight loss. It is absolutely essential to eat a healthy, balanced diet in order to keep your body in shape. Also without addressing underlying issues that sabotage weight loss efforts, your ability to lose weight and keep it off are severely compromised. That is how many people are incorporating FIR exposure into their weight-loss program with excellent results.
